Halloween Scene Los Angeles view

People in the Dark is an intriguing new addition to LA’s Halloween immersive scene. Located in the Southpark neighborhood of downtown, the show begins as a walking tour -- where you are a very active participant in the flowing discussion—and finishes as an immersive theatrical story. HSLA recently attended and enjoyed the enthusiasm of our tour guide, Taylor, as he led us around two city blocks, sharing tales of long-gone celebrities and the buildings where they lived and worked. While stories weren’t exactly ghostly, they were indeed eerie in their own way. The fun, half-hour or so walk then concluded in front of an old storefront, which, as the story goes, was once a gathering spot for Hollywood types. Inside this dilapidated building, if your group dares to venture, is where the real drama of the evening unfolds. The short show is clearly a nod to Sunset Blvd, and features several scenes with a ghost of Hollywood’s past. The setting is appropriately haunting, and the ghostly performer is the most memorable aspect of the night. Halloween Scene Los Angeles is excited about this new player in the competitive SoCal haunt market and eagerly looks forward to seeing what they might bring in future seasons, potentially with longer presentations and a larger cast of spectral characters.
